Vinicius Junior is making good progress in his recovery from his hamstring injury and is expected to return to play for Real Madrid in mid-January. Club sources, speaking on the condition of anonymity, have not ruled out the possibility Vinicius Jr could be available for the Spanish Super Cup, which starts on January 10, far sooner than the initial indications of a February return.
