And now, the songstress and beauty and fashion entrepreneur is set make a splash in the streaming industry, with a documentary feature directed by Peter Berg (Very Bad Things, Patriots Day). Prime paid a reported $25 million for global rights to the film, which is still untitled, according to The Hollywood Reporter. That said, isn’t the only platform forking over serious change for an artist documentary. Last week, Apple TV+ announced a Billie Eilish project that it was also said to have paid $25 million for. That film will be directed y and produced in collaboration with Eilish’s record label, Interscope, according to the Reporter. Additionally, Netflix is readying a docuseries with Taylor Swift -- though the financial details around that project have yet to emerge.
